| OK magazine interview | |
Faith Hill – 42-year-old country superstar born to the name Audrey Faith Perry – opened up to OK! about her busy life, the last romantic thing hubby Tim McGraw did for her and how their three girls – Gracie, 12, Maggie, 11, and Audrey, 8 – are discovering the music of Michael Jackson. On her latest favorite moment with her 3 daughters: “Watching them discover the genius of Michael Jackson. They’ve been absolutely obsessed with him; they dress up like Michael and then film themselves – it’s quite incredible!” On the last romantic thing Tim did for her: “This morning, before I got up, Tim had set up an area where I could go and do my work for the day; that was very romantic to me.” On her last workout: We [just moved into a new home in Franklin, Tenn.] after building for three and a half years. I haven’t had much time for anything else, but I’ve certainly been working out doing that! On her last indulgence: “I’m sure it had to do with a piece of furniture for our new house.” On being starstruck: “The first time I met Aretha Franklin, I actually cried. When you listen to someone as much as I’ve listened to her [and then meet her for the first time], I guess that’s normal. I was kind of surprised by my reaction. She inspires me to this day!” source: http://celebritybabyscoop.com |

| Joy to the World TV special | |
Watch Faith perform holiday favorites from her Christmas album, Joy to the World, during Great American Country’s 1–hour concert special, Faith Hill, Joy to the World. Faith is backed by a thirty-one person orchestra led by esteemed conductor David Campbell during her renditions of the title track “Joy to the World” and swinging, big-band versions of timeless Christmas standards “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and “Holly, Jolly Christmas.” Along with the orchestra, a nine-person choir accompanies Faith on the spiritual songs “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Silent Night,” and “A Baby Changes Everything.” This concert special was taped over two nights on a stage specially-constructed within the Sears Centre Arena, and in front of an audience of 3,000 people and originally produced as a Soundstage special event, which aired earlier this year on PBS. Check your local guide for GAC’s channel number. Faith HIll, Joy To The World airs at following times on GAC: November 29, 2009 10:00 PM ET source: faithhill.com |

| Faith Hill, Business Manager Part Ways After 16 Years | |
Faith Hill and her longtime business manager, Gary Borman, have parted ways, according to Hill’s publicist. “We are so proud of what we have achieved together over the past 16 years,” Hill and Borman said in a joint statement. “We love each other like a sister and a brother but have made the difficult choice to dissolve our professional relationship.” Hill released her debut single, “Wild One,” in 1993. Borman’s company, Borman Entertainment, also represents Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum. source: cmt.com |

| Tim and Faith to present at CMAs + red carpet news | |
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will present an award on Wednesday’s CMA Awards show. McGraw also was previously announced as a performer, his first CMA Awards performance in four years. Relatedly, as of Monday night, the CMA Awards show is sold out. This is not the only major event McGraw has planned this week: On Thursday night, he hosts a red-carpet VIP screening of his new film The Blind Side — which costars Sandra Bullock — at Regal Green Hills 16. Among those expected to walk that red carpet are Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood and Kix Brooks. The film is based on the Michael Lewis’ book, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game. It tells the story of Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Michael Oher, who was a black youth surviving on his own in Memphis until being taken in and adopted by a wealthy white family. Bullock and McGraw play the couple in the movie, and the wife on which Bullock’s character is based, Leigh Anne Tuohy, is expected in Nashville for the screening, along with her daughter Collins. The film opens nationwide on Friday, Nov. 20. See our interview with McGraw in that day’s Weekend section. source: The Tennessean |
